The kitchen appliance company upliance.ai secured Rs 34 crore, or about $4 million, in a funding round headed by Khosla Ventures, an early-stage venture firm.

TheĀ firm stated that the capital will be utilized to hire a staff, work with writers and editors on branding, and invest in new production techniques and equipment to expand their product line more quickly, as reported by ET.

The business claimed to have sold nearly 1,000 appliances through its website, Amazon, and offline stores.

With its touchscreen, upliance.ai provides guided recipe suggestions, a jar with pre-programmed culinary activities, and an integrated weighing scale that simplifies cooking for one or four people.

In 2023, upliance.ai completed its most recent fundraising round, raising Rs 11 crore from Draper Associates, Rukam Capital, and Rainmatter.
