TVS Capital Fund Appoints Chandrasekar V as Partner

Chandrasekar V (Chandra) has been appointed as Partner, Research at TVS Capital Funds (TCF), a growth private equity firm.

Chandra has over two decades of extensive experience from McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in the development, transformation, and leadership of high-performance research teams at scale.

Chandra’s primary objectives in his new position at TCF will be to improve the firm’s research capabilities, develop data-driven insights, and facilitate the strategic decision-making process across the firm’s investing activities.

Chandra has led one of McKinsey’s largest research teams, overseeing comprehensive research initiatives in a variety of sectors and regions.

He ensured that the team was in alignment with McKinsey’s global objectives by applying his leadership to talent management, client engagement, and operational excellence.

Furthermore, Chandra, a knowledge specialist in the TMT sector, provided McKinsey teams worldwide with profound technical expertise.

Chandra was responsible for the development and expansion of the Client Capabilities Hubs in Chennai and Bangalore at McKinsey. These hubs now employ nearly 300 professionals, including analysts, data scientists, and solution architects. He established the long-term strategic direction, fostered cross-team innovation, and guaranteed the centers’ relevance and impact in serving global clients in this capacity.
