Insurtech startup Turtlemint raises $120 mn in funding

Turtlemint, an Insurtech startup, has raised $120 million in funding round from Amansa Capital, Jungle Ventures, and Nexus Venture Partners.

The company plans to use the funds to expand into new geographies, grow its leadership team, and strengthen its product line.

Geniemode raises $28 mn in Series B round

Geniemode, a B2B cross-border tech platform for lifestyle goods, has raised $28 million in its Series B funding round from Tiger Global and existing investor Info Edge Ventures.

The startup plans to use the funds to penetrate deeper into key international markets and also plans to strengthen its supplier base in India and South East Asia (SEA).

WoodenStreet raises $30 mn in Series B round from WestBridge Capital

Jaipur-based WoodenStreet, an online furniture, and home décor platform has raised around $30 million in its series B funding round from WestBridge Capital in a mix of Primary and Secondary investments.

The company plans to use the funds for new market expansion, further development of its technology platform, expansion of its supply chain and creation of a new range of offerings.

Humantic AI raises $1.5 million in funding round

Personality assessment startup Humantic AI has raised $1.5 million in funding round from Coinbase and Pinterest board member Gojul Rajaram, John Donovan ( Ex-CEO, AT&T communications) and Amit Singh, board member of Asana.

The Palo Alto and Bangalore-based Humantic AI was founded in 2021 by Amarpreet Kalkat, It provides vendors with actionable personality insights derived from its proprietary AI, which combines machine learning and natural language processing with neuroscience and computational linguistics.

Zenda raises $9.4 mn in seed funding

Zenda, a fintech app has raised $9.4 million in seed funding round from STV, COTU, Global Founders Capital, and VentureSouq.

The startup said the funds will be used for product development and market expansion in India.

Truemeds raises $22 mn in funding led by WestBridge Capital

Telehealth platform Truemeds has raised $22 million in Series B funding round from WestBridge Capital.

The startup plans to use the funds to accelerate growth in the untapped domestic market and expand its coverage across the country. Now it wants to expand its operations outside Maharashtra as well.

The Mumbai-based Amesten Capital was founded in 2018 by Sachin Jain, It is a seed investment fund that focuses on early-stage startups in various verticals.

GoPaani raises $600k in Seed round funding

Indore-based platform, GoPaani has raised $600K in Seed funding round from investors including 3one4 Capital, PointOne Capital, and a host of angel investors including Mukund Jha (co-founder of Dunzo) among others.

Founded in 2019 by Ankit Ranka and Arpit Sharda, GoPaani is an app for water jar suppliers in managing their business.

Navikenz, a consulting-led AI services startup, has raised $4 million in Seed funding round from Sudip Nandy, ex-CEO Aricent and Sekar PRC ex-CEO Hexaware.

The startup will use the funds to expand its footprint in India and the United States.

Investing startup Sateeq raises funds from Group of founders & investors

Sateeq, an investing platform has raised an undisclosed amount in funding round from a group of founders and investors including Himanshu Periwal (founder of Unlu), Sarthak Goel (founder, Y-Combinator backed InVoid), Vaibhav Jalan (Smallcase), Nikunj Jain, Amitesh Sinha (partner SIMA Funds), Kunwar and Amit (founder of UnFinance).

Gurgaon-based Sateeq was founded in 2021 by 16-year-old Krishna Maggo, This is India’s first online platform where users can start investing in startups with just Rs 5000.

South Indian food startup VS Mani & Co raises $370k in funding

VS Mani & Co, a south Indian food startup, has raised $370k in funding round from angel investors including Haresh Chawla (Partner, True North Co),  Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of People Group), Ashish Hemrajani (Founder and CEO of BookMyShow), Sidharth Rao (Group CEO, DentsuMB), Rajan Navani (Founder and CEO of JetSynthesys) actor-producer Rana Daggubatiand Sattva Group’s family office.

The company plans to use the funds to take its online-first business to other channels and expand its product line to include South Indian snacks.

Captain Fresh, a tech-enabled B2B animal protein marketplace has raised around $7.5 Million in its extended Series C funding round from Evolvence Group.

The Bengaluru-based Captain Fresh was founded in 2019 by Utham Gowda, It is a farm-to-retail platform for animal proteins – fish, seafood, and sheep.
