Tricog Health, a health-tech startup has secured $8.5 mn in funding in a round called Series B2, with participation from investors such as Omron Health Care and Sony Innovation Fund.

Tricog Health, a health-tech startup has secured $8.5 mn in funding in a round called Series B2, with participation from investors such as Omron Health Care and Sony Innovation Fund.

Existing investors The University of Tokyo Edge Capital, Inventus Partners, and SG Innovate joined in the investment round. Tricog Health, which has its headquarters in Bengaluru, has received $30 million in funding as of the Series B2 round, as per reported by The Economic Times.

“With this round, we are committed to expanding our reach to Asia and Africa and our footprint in the US healthcare market. In addition, our strategic partnerships will allow us, for the first time, to address the needs of heart patients at home,” said founder and CEO Charit Bhograj.

Founded in 2015 by Bhograj, Dr. Zainul Charbiwala, and Dr. Udayan Dasgupta, Tricog Health currently generates $7 million in annual recurring revenue and aims to double this figure over the next year and a half, according to Bhograj in an interaction with ET.

Through collaborations with public and commercial healthcare networks, such as diagnostic labs and hospitals, Tricog Health strives to make cardiac diagnosis and management accessible and inexpensive for heart patients through its corporate clients.
