About Shubham Jain:
Meet Shubham Jain, the founder of QuicReach. He completed his Computer Science and Engineering degree at Harcourt Butler Technical University in 2018. He began his career as app developer, working in various startups to gain industry experience. Since his college days, Shubham aspired to build something impactful, but he was unsure about the specifics. Around 5 years, he worked as an app developer across various startups.
Inspiration Behind His Startup:
A tweet changed the whole life of this man. This was the time, when Shubham was relaxing on the couch, coffee in hand and scrolling Twitter. Suddenly, he noticed a tweet. The tweet was “Flight from Pune to Bangalore for ₹3,500, but cab from Bangalore to home cost ₹2000.” This tweet was a turning point in his life that changed his entire life. He realized that many times he also deal with the same problem.

This tweet compelled Shubham that why people had to pay so much just to travel to the airport. To understand this problem in a better way, he spoke with numerous people at the airport and was shocked to find that everyone shared the same complaint—cab rides are too costly. Instead of seeing this as a problem, he saw it a world full of possibilities and decided to turn this challenge into a business, aiming to make airport travel more affordable and safer for all.
The Story Behind The Startup:
Shubham, a skilled software engineer, had worked with a few startups before noticing a gap in the travel industry. At the time, he was still employed at a startup and initially tried to balance his full-time job with his new project. However, he soon realized to make his vision a reality and address the gap he had identified, Shubham needed to commit all his time and energy to it. This meant making a tough decision: he had to leave his job and focus solely on his new project.

After resigning from his job, Shubham dedicated himself to his new project with relentless hard work. He worked long hours, day and night, to make his vision a reality. With the support of a few friends who helped him along the way, his hard work eventually paid off. Shubham successfully developed a solution that benefited both users and drivers, marking the beginning of a new journey in the world of entrepreneurship.
The Solution: QuicReach:
In January 2024, Shubham Jain, along with his friends, officially launched QuicReach, a startup designed to offer more affordable rides. QuicReach is a cab-sharing platform that provides cost-effective options for long journeys, ranging from 25 to 300 kilometers. Whether it’s for airport transfers, trips to city hotspots, or intercity travel, QuicReach aims to make travel both convenient and budget-friendly. Since its launch, the platform has successfully served over 10,000 users.
QuicReach makes it easy to book cabs for airport pick-ups and drop-offs, delivering a smooth and enjoyable ride at an affordable price through their shared cab service. While their main focus is currently on airport travel, they also plan to expand their services to include both intercity and local city rides in the future.
QuicReach has successfully completed over 2,000 trips, helping customers save more than ₹20 lakh and cutting down CO2 emissions by over 1,000 kg. Additionally, they have onboarded more than 500 drivers in Bangalore, further expanding their reach and service quality.
