The Ayurveda Co, a D2C ayurvedic brand, raised $12.2 million (nearly Rs 100 crore) in Series A funding from Sixth Sense Ventures.

Along with a large number of startup founders and venture debt funds, actor Kajal Agarwal was one of those who participated in the round, as per reported by VCCircle.

The company, which has its headquarters in Gurugram, will put the newly acquired funds towards increasing both its product stack and its digital and offline outreach.

The Ayurveda Co, a company founded in 2021 by Param Bhargava and Shreedha Singh, sells its products both online through retailers like Amazon, Myntra, Nykaa, Flipkart, First Cry, and BlinkIt, as well as offline through a variety of channels like general trade.
