Quiph Media’s SuperShare has raised $6.5 million in its Series A funding round from Lachy Groom, Accel India, and existing investor Lightspeed.
The company plans to use the funds to accelerate product and market growth.
Tanmay Bhat and MythPat, two prominent YouTube video producers, as well as other executives who own significant management firms in India, all back the company.
The Bangalore based SuperShare was founded in 2018 by Sagar Modi and Advaith Vishwanath, It is a platform that recognizes good actors of social media – people who increase virality by finding and sharing the best content on the internet.

It’s currently operating in stealth mode, and it’s only available at a special, invitation-only event to a select few creators, and access is set to open over the next few months.
“We are building the best way to share content. Sharing content is a huge part of our lives on the internet, and with the ever-changing landscape in social media, and the rising prominence of chat/community apps, we believe there is an opportunity to increase intimacy and efficiency in the way we share content. We’re hiring aggressively across engineering and product to build a global consumer platform right here, from India,” said, Sagar Modi, Co-founder and CEO, SuperShare.
Earlier in 2020, SuperShare had raised $1.6 million in funding round led by Accel India and Lightspeed.
