Zepto, the quick commerce platform, has named Rachit Ranjan as its Chief Public Policy Officer. He will lead the company’s work on policy, regulations, and government relations.
Ranjan has over 15 years of experience in public policy, having worked with companies like dream11, WhatsApp, JUUL Labs, and Uber. At Uber, he handled policy for North India and federal affairs.

Zepto delivers over 25,000 products in 10 minutes through its network of dark stores. The company raised $340 million in August 2024, taking its total funding to $1.85 billion.
It recently shifted its headquarters from Singapore to India through a reverse merger, preparing for its IPO.
Zepto also launched ‘Zepto Atom,’ a subscription-based consumer analytics platform, marking its entry into the data space.
