Urban Harvest acquires Cocosutra in Rs 2.5 crore all-cash deal

Urban Harvest, a fast-growing B2B fresh produce and food supply company, has acquired premium gourmet food brand Cocosutra in an all-cash deal worth ₹2.5 crore.

The acquisition strengthens Urban Harvest’s offering by adding high-margin, value-added food products and increasing its reach across its existing restaurant and HoReCa network.

The company said that bringing Cocosutra into the Urban Harvest ecosystem will help it offer high-quality, value-added gourmet products at more competitive prices, using its strong distribution network.

With Cocosutra, we will be able to provide a wider product basket, deeper category penetration, and stronger unit economics — all while maintaining premium quality”

Cocosutra operates in the premium packaged food segment, focusing on gourmet products.

Urban Harvest said it has started a smooth transition for employees and operations to ensure business continuity. The company added that Cocosutra will be fully integrated into its systems within the next two months, while expansion efforts continue.

Since the acquisition, Cocosutra’s business has grown three times, supported by Urban Harvest’s stronger supply chain, wider market access, and better operations.

Going forward, the company expects strong growth and projects that Cocosutra will cross ₹100 crore in revenue over the next 24 months (FY26–FY27).
