Udaan acquires retail-tech startup ShopKirana in all stock deal

B2B ecommerce platform udaan has acquired ShopKirana, a retail tech startup in an all-stock transaction, marking a strategic consolidation in India’s eB2B segment.

However, the company did not share the financial details of the deal.

This acquisition follows Udaan’s recent $114 million Series G funding round.

It will allow Udaan to combine ShopKirana’s strong retailer network and FMCG experience with its own tech platform and supply chain system.

Udaan said the merger will boost supply chain efficiency and help reduce costs, while offering more value to both retailers and brands.

The deal also brings Info Edge in as a new shareholder in Udaan.
