Tivolt Electric Vehicles, a part of the Murugappa Group and TI Clean Mobility, has signed an agreement with Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL), a major company in India’s renewable energy sector and a leading provider of EV charging solutions.
Partnership Aim
The partnership aims to improve EV charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles.
Shivram Bikkina, Head of Solar Rooftop & EV Charging at Tata Power, attended the signing event. Virendra Goyal, Head of EV Charging Business at Tata Power, and Saju Nair, CEO of Tivolt Electric Vehicles, signed the agreement.
Through this agreement, TPREL will use its experience in building and managing EV charging stations across India to support Tivolt dealerships, customer locations, and busy public areas. By installing chargers in key locations, TPREL aims to provide reliable and easy-to-access charging solutions for commercial EV owners.

Tivolt Electric Vehicles, a part of the Murugappa Group, aims to transform city transportation with tech-based EV solutions and a customer-focused service. It specializes in small and light commercial vehicles under the Montra Electric brand, offering reliable, sustainable, and innovative solutions.

TPREL has expanded its EZ Charge network to include over 100,000 home chargers, 6,500 public and fleet charging points, and more than 1,100 bus charging stations across 530 cities and towns. These chargers are placed at key locations such as highways, hotels, malls, hospitals, offices, and residential complexes.
