Tata Consultancy Services Extends Partnership with Telenor Denmark for Five More Years

On December 12, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced a five-year extension of its partnership with Telenor Denmark, the second-largest mobile operator in Denmark.

This extended agreement will see TCS continue providing IT and infrastructure management services from its European delivery centre.

The deal reflects a recovery in demand for IT services in the telecom sector, which had previously slowed. Over the last six years, TCS has utilized its machine-first delivery model to modernize Telenor Denmark’s IT infrastructure, serving over 1.6 million subscribers.

Under the new agreement, TCS will also implement advanced automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency and further improve the telecom operator's IT infrastructure.

TCS has a long history in the telecom sector, with over 160 telecom clients globally and more than 35,000 dedicated resources. The company serves many of the world’s leading telecom operators, including five of the top 10 global players, four of the top six European providers, and six of the top seven North American companies.

Louise Haurum, Telenor Denmark's Chief Technology Officer, emphasized that the partnership has been crucial in driving innovation and maintaining resilience in their IT infrastructure.
