Swiggy Instamart appoints Kanika Tiwari as Head of Monetization

Swiggy Instamart has named Kanika Tiwari as its new Head of Monetization to support its growth plans. Kanika joins Swiggy after eight years at Flipkart, where she held key leadership roles, including Director of Strategy and Growth at Flipkart Ads and Associate Director of Growth and Partnerships.

Tiwari said in a LinkedIn post."I want to thank Flipkart for the opportunities and experiences gained during my tenure. I am grateful to all the leaders I got to work with, who helped me become the professional I am today. Looking forward to this new chapter and contributing to Swiggy's success,".

Swiggy has also appointed Supriya Shankar as Vice President of Events and Experience. Supriya, who was previously CEO - Singapore and SVP - Growth and Expansion SEA at Lenskart, brings 14 years of experience in internet commerce, focusing on growth, expansion, and P&L management.

She has held leadership roles at Lenskart, Airtel, Zomato, and OYO, handling global marketing, sales, and operations. This follows other key hires at Swiggy, including Shalabh Shrivastava as SVP of Driver Organisation and Hari Kumar G as SVP and Chief Business Officer for Swiggy Instamart.

As Head of Monetization at Swiggy Instamart, Tiwari will focus on strategies to boost revenue as the platform continues to grow in India’s competitive quick commerce market. Her strong experience in strategy and growth is expected to strengthen Instamart’s leadership in the industry.
