Skoda Auto India has appointed Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as its first brand ambassador to boost its presence in the mass market.
This announcement comes on the company’s 23rd anniversary in India, marking an important milestone.
This announcement comes after the launch of the Kylaq, Skoda's first sub-4m SUV in india, which highlights its commitment to growing in the Indian car market.
As part of this partnership Skoda plans to strengthen its market position with exciting campaigns. The first ad featuring Ranveer Singh and the new Kylaq SUV will be released soon.

At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Skoda displayed its range of ICE and EV models, including the Elroq and Enyaq EV, the Kodiaq luxury 4x4, the high-performance Octavia vRS, the Superb luxury sedan, the 2025 Kushaq, and the new Kylaq. Soon after, Skoda Auto India began delivering the Kylaq, marking another step in its expansion, now boosted by its partnership with Singh.
Skoda Auto recently celebrated 25 years in India, a major milestone in its growth. The brand entered the Indian market in January 2000, becoming the first Volkswagen Group brand to operate in the country. Skoda started local production at a facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad) with the Octavia, its first assembled model in India.
