Simplilearn names Jitendra Kumar as CTO to lead AI-first strategy

Simplilearn, a digital upskilling company, has named Jitendra Kumar as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Kumar is rejoining the company, having previously played a key role in building its web and mobile platforms during a period of fast growth. 

In his new role, he will lead Simplilearn’s shift to AI-first technologies—using tools like generative and predictive AI to personalise learning and expand its global reach.

His leadership will be critical in advancing our AI-readiness, scaling capabilities, and strengthening our position as a leading digital upskilling platform. Before coming back to Simplilearn, Kumar was the co-founder and CEO of HappyCredit, a fintech startup supported by Kunal Shah and Goodwater Capital. He also created ReelOn, an AI-based platform that helps creators, agencies, and brands make video content.
