Sandeep Dhar Joins Wipro as Global Head of GCC Practice

Wipro, a technology services and consulting company, has named Sandeep Dhar as the Global Head of its GCC (Global Capability Centers) Practice.

The company aims to grow in this area, which is attracting attention from all major IT firms.

Dhar will lead Wipro’s AI-driven and consulting-focused GCC strategy, which helps global companies build and expand their innovation and transformation hubs. He will report to the Chief Operating Officer, Sanjeev Jain.

“His vast experience in leading and transforming GCCs, combined with Wipro's robust capabilities and comprehensive suite of services for GCCs, will enable us to deliver superior business value to clients,” said Sanjeev Jain, COO, Wipro Limited.

Dhar has over 30 years of experience in the GCC and consulting space and has been key in building and growing several well-known GCCs. Wipro said in a filing that, as managing director, he helped turn the GCCs of Tesco and Goldman Sachs Consumer Bank into major centres for innovation and growth.
