Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG division of Reliance Industries, has bought a majority stake in Australia-based healthy beverage company Goodness Group Global Pty. Ltd. (GGG). This move marks an important step in RCPL’s expansion.
The acquisition marks RCPL’s entry into Australia’s rapidly growing consumer goods market and highlights its focus on providing high-quality global products at affordable prices.

As part of the partnership, RCPL will help expand Goodness Group’s popular health-focused drink brands, including Nexba and PACE — a hydration brand created with Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins — into new markets like India. The deal also supports RCPL’s goal of building a strong health-based beverage portfolio and strengthens its position as a growing global FMCG company from India.
The company has already expanded into major international markets such as the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. RCPL also offers a strong range of healthy drinks, including RasKik and Sun Crush juices, zero-sugar soft drinks, and its herbal and natural beverage brand, Shunya.
T. Krishnakumar, Director, Reliance Consumer Products Limited, said, "This strategic partnership is a bold step towards establishing RCPL as a global FMCG company from India. The addition of GGG's health-focused consumer brands like Nexba and PACE will add strength to RCPL's healthy beverages portfolio. With our strong supply chain and distribution capabilities, RCPL will ensure expansion of GGG's brands across newer markets and wide availability in India. This move will further help RCPL meet its promise of making the global quality accessible to everyone."
"We are thrilled that our brands and innovation have resonated so strongly and that our strategic partner RCPL recognizes the business opportunity for us all. This partnership will provide opportunity for the business to become the global leader in the 'Better-For-You' category," said Troy Douglas, Founder, Goodness Group.
Reliance Industries recently announced that two of its major consumer businesses — quick commerce and FMCG — have started making profits. This growth has been supported by the company’s strong sourcing network and focus on higher-margin products.
The quick commerce business, launched in October 2024, is now profitable on almost every order and has achieved positive contribution margins. At the same time, the FMCG business, which began about three years ago, has reached Ebitda profitability.
