The Jaipur-based famous luxury jewellery brand Raniwala 1881 has announced a partnership with Francorp, the advisory arm of Franchise India Group, to grow its retail business through franchising.

Purpose of this partnership

This partnership will help the brand expand its stores using a structured franchise model, giving investors and jewellery lovers a chance to be part of its 140-year-old legacy.

Through this partnership, Raniwala 1881 will adopt both FOFO (Franchise-Owned, Franchise-Operated) and FOCO (Franchise-Owned, Company-Operated) models. This gives entrepreneurs and jewellery investors a chance to be part of the growth of one of India’s most respected fine jewellery brands.

About Raniwala 1881

Raniwala 1881 was established in the 19th century by Rai Bahadur Champalal of Beawar, who was honored with the title 'Rai Bahadur' by the British. Along with it, he received the ‘Raniwala’ mark, highlighting the family’s strong roots in fine jewellery and craftsmanship.

The brand mainly focuses on bridal jewellery, especially Polki pieces set in 18-karat gold, designed to appeal to Gen Z and Millennials.

It has also worked with top Indian designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra and Rahul Mishra.
