Rajasthan currently hosts over 600 startups in the AVGC-XR sector and aims to grow that number to 3,000 by 2030.
The state government has allocated INR 1,000 crore in its 2024-25 budget to support the sector. Rajasthan plans to establish high-tech labs, subsidized coworking spaces, and skill development programs to nurture talent in AVGC-XR.
The policy also envisions the creation of incubators and accelerators in key cities providing mentorship and resources for entrepreneurs.
With the AVGC-XR market in India expected to grow from $3 billion to over $26 billion by 2030 Rajasthan is positioned to play a crucial role in this expansion. The policy also aims to generate over 50,000 jobs by 2030 and foster the development of digital content that reflects the state's cultural heritage empowering local talent to create globally recognized intellectual properties.
By integrating creativity and technology, Rajasthan is set to emerge as a hub for AVGC-XR innovation, contributing significantly to India's digital transformation.
