Quick Ride Launches Cab Pick-up Zones At Bengaluru Airport

Quick Ride, a top shared mobility platform in India, has set up dedicated pickup zones at Bengaluru Airport’s Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. This move supports its goal of offering eco-friendly and efficient airport transport.

The launch event, attended by airport officials and Quick Ride CEO KNM Rao, highlighted the company’s focus on making airport travel more sustainable and convenient.

KNM Rao, CEO of Quick Ride, said, "At Quick Ride, we believe that the future of transportation is green, shared, and connected. With our growing fleet of electric taxis, including premium models like the BYD E6 and BYD Emax7, as well as the reliable Tata Tigor and stylish MG ZS, we are offering our customers a cleaner, greener way to travel. This dedicated pickup zone at BLR Airport reflects our commitment to building a smarter, more sustainable transportation ecosystem."

The new pickup zones at T1 and T2 make it easier for Quick Ride users to catch electric taxis, helping reduce traffic and improve the airport pickup experience. This step aligns with Quick Ride’s mission to ease urban congestion, promote shared travel, and cut down on carbon emissions.

With this move, Quick Ride continues to lead in shared mobility. The company also plans to grow its electric vehicle fleet and carpooling services, staying focused on eco-friendly and shared transport solutions.

The Bengaluru-based company started as a carpooling service in 2015 and has since grown to offer taxi services for local and outstation travel, along with rental options.
