Shiprocket Confidentially Files Draft IPO Papers

Ecommerce logistics startup Shiprocket has filed a confidential draft with SEBI for its upcoming IPO, as per a public notice.

The company has chosen Axis Capital, Kotak Mahindra Capital, JM Financial, and Bank of America as lead managers. Backed by Temasek and Zomato, Shiprocket plans to raise around ₹2,000–2,500 crore through the IPO, according to PTI.

Started as a shipping aggregator, the company now also helps direct-to-consumer brands and small businesses with logistics support.

Shiprocket has launched what it calls India’s first AI-powered model context protocol server to boost autonomous digital commerce.

This new tool allows AI agents to handle key logistics tasks—like checking shipping rates or tracking orders—using just one line of instruction.

Made for D2C brands and small businesses, the system aims to speed up operations, simplify integration, and reduce manual work, while ensuring top-level security. Shiprocket says this is a step toward building a fully automated commerce setup.
