Quick Commerce Platform KiranaPro Acquires Joper.app

Quick commerce platform KiranaPro has acquired Joper.app, a hyperlocal grocery delivery service that connects small Kirana stores with customers for an undisclosed amount.

With this acquisition, KiranaPro will fully merge Joper.app’s operations, leveraging its expertise in local vendor connections and customer engagement.KiranaPro also will integrate Joper.app’s operations across 25 cities, including Ranchi, Thane, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mysuru, Noida, and Vaishali.

Joper.app’s stores, vendors, and customers will move to KiranaPro’s platform. KiranaPro will use Joper’s expertise in vendor acquisition to expand its reach and build stronger partnerships with local stores.

“This acquisition strengthens our presence in the hyperlocal commerce space while ensuring better tech-enabled solutions for local store owners,” KiranaPro CEO Deepak Ravindran said. 

“While we successfully onboarded numerous vendors, long-term growth demands a strong, customisable technology platform,” he added.

Joper.app founder Sumit Gorai said the partnership will help Joper.app’s vendors use KiranaPro’s AI tools and ONDC network.
