Prudential has appointed Naveen Tahilyani as the new Regional CEO for India, Africa, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. He will also oversee the company’s Health business.
Naveen will join on July 29 and report to CEO Anil Wadhwani. He replaces Solmaz Altin, who is moving back to Europe.

Before this, Naveen was MD and CEO of Tata Digital and held senior roles at Tata AIA, AIA Group, and McKinsey & Co.
Anil Wadhwani said, “Naveen brings the right experience and regional insight to help drive growth in key emerging markets and expand our health business. I’m also pleased to welcome Rajeev, whose extensive experience in Asia positions him well to lead Eastspring into its next phase. I want to thank Bill for his leadership and contributions to the business.”
Separately, Rajeev Mittal has been named CEO of Prudential’s asset management arm, Eastspring Investments, starting July 1. He will work from Singapore, report to Wadhwani, and join the Group Executive Committee.
Rajeev replaces Bill Maldonado, who is retiring and moving back to the UK after four years abroad. Bill will stay on as an advisor until September and continue as a board member of ICICI Prudential AMC.
Rajeev has over 30 years of experience and has held top roles at Fidelity International, PineBridge Investments, and AIG where he managed asset management operations in Asia and Europe.
