Paytm Money, India’s leading wealth-tech app, has introduced the ‘Pay Later’ Margin Trading Facility (MTF), empowering investors to purchase stocks by paying only a fraction of the total upfront.
The remaining balance is funded by the platform at an introductory interest rate of just 1% per month, valid until March 31, 2025.
This initiative allows investors to optimize market opportunities while paying interest only for utilized funds, making trading more accessible and flexible.
The feature supports nearly 1,000 MTF-enabled stocks and offers seamless activation directly through account settings or during eligible stock transactions by selecting the ‘Margin’ option.

With this launch, Paytm Money aims to democratize stock market participation particularly for retail investors, by reducing barriers to entry.
Rakesh Singh, MD & CEO of Paytm Money highlighted the company’s mission to simplify investments and enhance financial accessibility. “Our Pay Later (MTF) facility boosts investors’ purchasing power, allowing increased market exposure without full upfront capital,” he stated.
The platform has also expanded its offerings with the introduction of BSE Futures & Options (F&O) trading, enabling traders to invest in SENSEX and BANKEX options. Additionally Paytm Money offers a ‘Margin Pledge’ feature that lets traders leverage stock holdings for trades.
Recently, Paytm Money unveiled a redesigned app with improved portfolio insights, personalized dashboards and intuitive tools catering to the evolving needs of modern investors.
