Ola Grows Network to 4,000 Stores, Unveils S1 Pro Sona Edition

EV startup ola Electric has announced the opening of 3,200 new stores, expanding its network of showrooms and service centers to a total of 4,000.

This strategic move aims to boost EV adoption in smaller towns and tehsils, reaching beyond metro and Tier I and II cities.

Founder and MD Bhavish Aggarwal emphasized accessibility in a recent post, referring to their scooters as “#SavingsWalaScooter.” Alongside the expansion, Ola Electric has launched a limited-edition electric scooter, the ‘Ola S1 Pro Sona,’ featuring 24-karat gold-plated elements and a customizable MoveOS dashboard for personalized ride settings.

The company also rolled out the beta version of MoveOS 5, introducing features like group navigation, live location sharing, road trip mode, smart charging, and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) alerts.

Ola has also dealt with challenges such as safety concerns, after-sales service issues, and government scrutiny, alongside a reported net loss of INR 495 Cr in Q2 FY25.
