Cricketer Ajinkya Rahane Invests In Deeptech Startup Proxgy

Proxgy, an IoT company focused on safety, connectivity, and productivity, has raised funding from Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane in its $3 million Series A round.

Proxgy, an IoT company focused on safety, connectivity, and productivity, has raised funding from Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane in its $3 million Series A round.

Other notable investors include zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath, actor Suniel Shetty, industrialist Vinod Duggar, and Manish Patel participated in this round.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its operations, launch new products, and expand internationally.

Pulkit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of Proxgy, said, "This funding will enable us to expand globally and bring innovative solutions like SmartHat, Sleefe, and Lockator to industries that need them the most."

Ajinkya Rahane, said, "Having represented India on the global cricketing stage, I know the importance of discipline, innovation and precision. Proxgy reflects these values, and their ground breaking products have the potential to redefine safety and productivity in industrial environments."

In october 2023, Proxgy has also raised Rs 16 crore ($2 million) in a pre-series A funding round led by LetsVenture, Planify Angel Fund, Mach Tech Fund, and others.

Founded in 2020 by Pulkit Ahuja and based in Gurugram, the company focuses on innovative IoT solutions. It also offers smart wearables and safety products to improve workplace safety and efficiency, especially for blue-collar workers.

Proxgy has earned global recognition, winning awards like the European Product Design Award, Most Innovative Product at CES Las Vegas, and Most Promising Start-Up at GITEX Africa.

The company claims 800% revenue growth in FY24 and an order book worth ₹50 crore.
