NODWIN Gaming Acquires Esports Media Company AFK Gaming For Rs 7.6 Cr

NODWIN Gaming, a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Limited, has announced the acquisition of AFK Gaming Pvt. Ltd., a gaming and esports media company. After the deal is completed, AFK Gaming will become a fully owned subsidiary of NODWIN Gaming.

NODWIN Gaming is acquiring 93% of AFK Gaming's share capital for a total of ₹7.6 crore, through a mix of cash and a stock swap of NODWIN shares. NODWIN already owned the remaining 7% of AFK. As part of the deal, AFK’s founders will become shareholders in NODWIN Gaming and will be integrated into different areas of NODWIN’s operations.

The acquisition strengthens NODWIN Gaming’s ability to produce and distribute esports content as well as enhance its marketing and PR services. This will improve NODWIN's offerings to brands and publishers, positioning it as a comprehensive solution for all esports and gaming-related marketing needs which will help NODWIN capture a larger share of marketing budgets.
