"With Cohort 2, we’re backing founders who aren’t just dreaming of change but are actually building it. The future belongs to those who take the leap, and we’re here to make sure they don’t have to do it alone," Kamath said.

WTFund offers a grant of up to Rs 20 lakh to new founders, along with mentorship and strategic partnerships to help them grow their startups.

Some of the nine startups that received funding from Kamath’s WTFund are Nasadya (H2ive), InnerGize, Armatrix, Drnk, Neoperk, ReferRush, Modus AI, Bytes and Ai.gnosis.

The second group covers a range of industries like Tech/SaaS, D2C, EdTech, FinTech, HealthTech, AgriTech, and Cleantech.

The initiative received applications from over 50 cities, including both large cities and remote areas.

WTFund is dedicated to helping young entrepreneurs by providing grants, mentorship, and resources without forcing them to give up equity right away.

The initiative supports founders working on important real-world issues in areas like healthtech, AI, energy, and space tech. Its goal is to make capital more accessible and encourage innovative, risk-taking ideas. With its expanding network, WTFund is helping shape the future of India’s entrepreneurs.
