Micromax and Phison Launch MiPhi Joint Venture to Transform India’s Tech Landscape

Micromax Informatics, India’s leading consumer electronics brand, and Phison, a global pioneer in NAND storage technologies have announced MiPhi, a joint venture designed to revolutionize India’s technological landscape. 

This collaboration aligns with India’s vision of Making AI in India, supporting its ambition to become a global AI powerhouse.

MiPhi aims to disrupt the AI and storage ecosystems with innovative solutions, including the world’s lowest per-token cost for AI applications and advanced NAND storage offerings. 

The partnership combines Micromaxs market expertise with Phison’s technological leadership to drive innovation across AI, automotive, IoT, and enterprise sectors.

According to Rahul Sharma Co founder of Micromax, This venture sets a benchmark for digital transformation aiming to reduce GPU costs by one tenth and position India at the forefront of Ai innovation.

Similarly, Phison’s CEO K.S. Pua emphasized leveraging Phison’s expertise to enhance India’s technological infrastructure and drive impactful solutions across multiple industries.

MiPhi will focus on local partnerships and manufacturing, with facilities in Hyderabad, Bhiwadi, and Noida, bolstering India’s self reliance in electronics production.
