A Startup Pavilion at Mahakumbh 2025 will feature 2,000 startups, offering school children and youth a chance to learn about entrepreneurship and interact with successful founders.
To provide early exposure to entrepreneurship for schoolchildren and young people, a Startup Pavilion is being set up in the Arail area ahead of Mahakumbh 2025.
This groundbreaking initiative at the Kumbh Mela, the first of its kind, is being organized by private company Evolife Limited. The pavilion will host nearly 2,000 startups from across India, supported by around a dozen incubation centers, including five from Uttar Pradesh.
The aim is to share the startup journey and essential elements of entrepreneurship with young minds and visitors.

Amit Jauhri, director of Evolife Limited, highlighted that the concept of startups is not widely understood, making such a platform essential for education. “This initiative will give students, especially those in classes 10 and 12, the opportunity to not only understand startups but also engage with entrepreneurs who were once ordinary people,” he said.
The pavilion will be housed in the German Hanger and will feature over 100 enclosures, similar to a trade fair, allocated to startups from across the country.
A stage will also be set up for celebrity entrepreneurs to share their success stories with the visitors. The facility will be open from January 15 to the end of February.
With an estimated budget of ₹55 crore, the details of the project will be presented to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his visit on December 23, after which it may be named the "Mukhyamantri Startup Pavilion."
Registrations for the incubation centers will open by the end of this year, and each startup will be allotted space in the pavilion for their designated days.
Efforts are underway to involve renowned figures from the startup world, including Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta of boat, Vijay Shekhar Sharma of Paytm, Sanjeev Barnwal of meesho, and Kunal Shah of Cred, who will share their success stories and answer questions from the youth.
