Magicpin Launches magicNOW To Quick Food Delivery Service

Hyperlocal delivery startup Magicpin has launched magicNOW, a food delivery service that promises deliveries within 15 minutes, amid growing competition in instant delivery.

According to the company, the service completed its pilot phase between November 14 and December 15 and will be initially launched in six Indian cities.

The company will offer fast food delivery within a 1.5 to 2 km radius to ensure freshness and quality. The service will first launch in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, and Pune.

The service aims to keep food fresh by delivering within a 1.5-2 km radius and partnering directly with restaurants, instead of using dark stores, the company said in a statement.

Anshoo Sharma, cofounder and CEO of magicpin, said, “Our mission with magicNOW is to only deliver fresh food prepared by the restaurants and not operate via any dark stores, hence to maintain freshness and cuisine integrity, service is dedicated only to food delivery and will operate only within a 1.5-2 km radius of the consumer for 15 minutes quick delivery."
