The Jaipuria Group has acquired D2C eyewear brand ClearDekho in an undisclosed amount.
ClearDekho’s acquisition marks its growth into a national eyewear brand, aiming to make eyewear more accessible across India.
As per the press release, the Jaipuria Group will take full ownership by acquiring 100% of the company. All current shareholders will exit within two years.
ClearDekho will keep running as a separate brand, but the Jaipuria Group will now fully manage its operations. Over time, it may become part of the group’s main company.

The company has raised over Rs 100 crore (around $12 million) so far from investors like SphitiCap, Venture Catalysts, Dholakia Ventures, NB Ventures, Estrela Ventures, Cornerstone and Aroa Ventures (the family office of OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal).

Founded in 2017 by Shivi Singh, ClearDekho provides affordable eyewear through both online sales and offline stores, including FOCO (franchise-owned, company-operated) outlets. It focuses on serving low-income customers in smaller towns and cities across India.
The brand offers a wide range of products like prescription glasses, sunglasses, reading glasses and contact lenses.
ClearDekho plans to grow its business and reach Rs 300 crore in revenue over the next three years. Its long-term goal is to capture 10% of India’s eyewear market within five to seven years.
