Infosys Partners with RheinEnergie to Advance Energy Transition and Sustainability

Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, has announced a collaboration with RheinEnergie, a prominent German energy service provider.

This partnership aims to advance enterprises' energy transition and sustainability goals by leveraging Infosys Energy Cloud, part of the Infosys Cobalt suite, and Infosys Topaz, an AI-first offering powered by generative AI technologies. RheinEnergies extensive expertise in energy services will enable enterprises to monitor, control and optimize their energy systems while aligning with decarbonization objectives.

As part of this collaboration, Infosys will support RheinEnergie in deploying advanced solutions in cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and Industry 4.0. These solutions aim to help enterprises reduce costs enhance energy efficiency and strengthen sustainability initiatives. 

Together, they will develop decentralized energy transition solutions, connecting renewable energy generation, storage systems, energy markets, grids, and energy-consuming assets. Enterprises will gain the ability to select optimal low-carbon energy sources, maximize returns from on-site renewable energy systems, and navigate the evolving energy landscape.

Partnership Benifit

The partnership will primarily focus on RheinEnergie’s customers in sectors such as travel and transportation, commercial real estate, and manufacturing. It aims to deliver actionable strategies to boost energy efficiency by up to 30–40%.
