Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy has reportedly acquired a luxury apartment in Bengaluru's prestigious Kingfisher Towers for Rs 50 crore. 

This 8,400-square-foot apartment, located on the 16th floor, features four bedrooms and five dedicated car parking spaces. 

Murthy's second purchase in Kingfisher Towers sets a new price benchmark in the city's real estate market. The Kingfisher Towers complex, a 34-story luxury residential development, offers 81 units (4 BHK) starting at 8,000 square feet, spread across three buildings on a 4.5-acre plot.

 The top two floors house a lavish apartment. The deal, priced at Rs 59,500 per square foot, is among the highest in Bengaluru’s upscale commercial area. Murthy bought the property from a Mumbai-based businessman who had owned it for nearly a decade, with Sadhwani Real Estate Holdings facilitating the transaction.

Four years ago, Sudha Murthy, Narayana Murthy's wife, had purchased a flat in the same complex for Rs 29 crore. Other high-profile residents include Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and Karnataka Minister KJ George’s son, Rana George.

Kingfisher Towers 

Kingfisher Towers is known for its opulence and luxury amenities, including private swimming pools, a state of the art gym, 24/7 security and concierge services. It is located on Vittal Mallya Road, a prestigious area in Bengaluru adding to the tower’s status as a symbol of exclusivity.

The property was developed in a joint venture between the Prestige Group and Vijay Mallya's company, with apartments initially sold at Rs 22,000 per square foot in 2010.
