Infinx Acquires i3 Verticals' healthcare RCM biz for $96 Mn

Mumbai-based revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions provider Infinx on Wednesday said it has acquired Nasdaq-listed i3 Verticals' healthcare revenue cycle management business for USD 96 million.

The deal will help Infinx grow its presence in the healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) market and reach new customer groups, including academic medical centers and large provider groups, according to the company.

The acquisition is part of Infinx's long-term plan to combine scalable technology with expert services throughout the revenue cycle, helping healthcare providers increase revenue, reduce administrative tasks, and improve patient care.

“Their deep experience supporting academic medical centers and the strong relationships they’ve built over the years are an ideal complement to our technology-driven approach,” said Jaideep Tandon, chairman and CEO of Infinx. 

“By combining their trusted expertise with our AI-powered RCM Insights, patient access, and automation platforms, we’re excited to deliver meaningful financial and clinical outcomes for healthcare providers nationwide,” he added.

The outsourced RCM services market was valued at around $20 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow at a 12% annual rate until 2029, according to a recent report by Avendus Capital.
