IDFC FIRST Bank Launches Holographic Avatar of Amitabh Bachchan for Customer Interaction

IDFC FIRST Bank has introduced an AI-powered holographic digital avatar of India’s legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan. 

The cutting-edge Holographic Extended Reality (HXR) device allows customers to engage with the actor's digital likeness to learn about various banking products and services.

The first HXR device is installed at the bank's Juhu branch in Mumbai, with plans to roll out similar devices in other high-traffic branches and strategic locations across the country.

Developed in collaboration with Ikonz Studios, the HXR device offers touch-enabled interactions where customers can explore services like Zero Fee Banking, Monthly Interest Credits, Mobile Banking, and the exclusive Current Account BRAVO. Additional services will be added in future phases.

According to the bank, the avatar’s content is carefully scripted for clarity and engagement, highlighting the bank’s commitment to accessible, personalized banking experiences.
