Former Kae Capital partner Natasha Malpani launches Boundless Ventures to back AI startups

Former Kae Capital partner Natasha Malpani has started Boundless Ventures, a fund with Rs 200 crore, to support early-stage AI startups in India.

The fund will invest in companies at the pre-seed and seed stages that work on AI in areas like consumer apps, infrastructure, agent tools, healthcare, logistics, and Indian-made hardware.

The fund, raised from Natasha Malpani’s personal network of friends and family, has already invested in six startups. 

These include healthcare startup SuperHealth, robotics company Armatrix, space technology startup Piersight, quick fashion delivery startup Knot, and two secret projects in AI infrastructure and consumer AI.

"We’re at an inflection point where AI is moving from experiments to infrastructure, and the next decade will be defined by the teams who can turn raw capability into enduring systems and categories," Malpani said, adding that India has the advantage of talent density and digital rails to build global AI companies.

Malpani, who left Kae Capital earlier this year, said that Boundless Ventures provides more than just money. It also helps founders with storytelling and building connections.

Before this, she founded a media company called Boundless Media and grew Dice Media.
