DPIIT Partners with Stride Ventures to Help Indian Startups Expand Worldwide

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has partnered with Stride Ventures, a top venture debt firm, to support the growth and global expansion of Indian startups.

Motive Behind This Partnership

The partnership aims to combine financial support with mentorship and market access which creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs across India. Officials believe that this will help strengthen India's push to promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

It also mentioned that startups from tier-2 and tier-3 cities will get personalized guidance, mentorship, and access to a global network of mentors to help them grow.

The initiative will also showcase different fundraising options, including venture debt, to help emerging businesses choose the best path for growth.

Sanjiv, Joint Secretary at DPIIT emphasized the broader economic impact of the partnership, stating that Stride Ventures will create special programs and work on initiatives like the Bharat Grand Challenge to encourage entrepreneurship, innovation and investment.
