Delhivery Names Peppertap Cofounder Milind Sharma To Head Its Rapid Commerce Service

Delhivery, a modern logistics company has appointed Milind Sharma, co-founder of the now-closed grocery delivery service Peppertap, as the head of its rapid commerce and D2C brands division.

In his new role at Delhivery, Milind Sharma will develop the Rapid Commerce Service and manage the company's products for direct-to-consumer brands. He will also expand Delhivery’s same-day and next-day delivery services.

Milind was one of Delhivery’s first team members in 2012, helping grow operations to 100,000 daily orders while leading business development. 

He later co-founded PepperTap, a hyperlocal delivery startup that reached over $200 million in annual revenue, and Nuvo Logistics, which expanded to 75+ cities with $10 million+ revenue before being acquired by Shadowfax, where he led growth and strategy. 

More recently, he launched Flyo, a quick commerce platform and Mabel, a jewelry commerce venture.

Earlier this year, Delhivery launched its rapid commerce service to provide intracity deliveries within 2-4 hours from its dark stores.
