Delhivery, a logistics and supply chain company has added Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals and Sameer Mehta, Co-founder and CEO of boat, as independent directors on its board.
Delhivery announced in a stock exchange filing that the appointments will take effect on February 17, 2025.
Earlier, the company also said that former Airtel executive Vani Venkatesh will become its Chief Business Officer from February 28.
Delhivery also announced plans to close its Bangladesh subsidiary. The company stated that this subsidiary is not significant and its closure will not impact Delhivery’s revenue.

Delhivery added that Delhivery Bangladesh is fully owned by Delhivery Singapore, which is in turn fully owned by Delhivery Limited.
“However, contribution (of) Delhivery Bangladesh to net worth of Delhivery Singapore is 1.46% and contribution Delhivery Singapore to net worth of the company is 0.25%,” said the company.

Founded in 2011 by Sahil Barua, Mohit Tandon, Bhavesh Manglani, Suraj Saharan and Kapil Bharati, Delhivery provides last-mile delivery, warehousing, and freight services, including express parcel, partial truckload (PTL), full truckload (FTL), and cross-border shipping.

In Q3 FY25, Delhivery’s net profit jumped 114% to INR 24.98 Cr from INR 11.7 Cr a year ago. Revenue grew over 8% to INR 2,378.29 Cr from INR 2,194.46 Cr in Q3 FY24.
However, EBITDA dropped slightly to INR 102 Cr from INR 109 Cr in the same period last year.
Before the Q3 earnings announcement, Delhivery’s shares fell 1.55% on Friday (Feb 7), closing at INR 316.75 on the BSE.
