Curefoods has made a strategic investment in Dras Ice, a company that provides pure, contaminant-free packaged ice.

With the growth of quick commerce (Q-commerce), there is increasing demand for high-quality packaged ice. This collaboration is a key move for Curefoods to strengthen its operations and meet the rising need for safe and reliable ice products across the country.

Founded in 2021 by Shashank Singhal, Abhinav Duggal and Ayush Agarwal, Dras Ice serves industries like HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering), modern trade, and Q-commerce platforms. The brand provides businesses with premium-quality, safe and reliable ice solutions.

Gokul Kandhi, Chief Operating Officer of Curefoods, said, “Our collaboration with Dras Ice strengthens our ability to support the operational needs of cloud kitchens while addressing a clear market gap in the packaged ice segment. Together we are set to revolutionize how India consumes ice by offering superior, certified and safe packaged ice solutions.”

In addition to this investment, Curefoods recently acquired Krispy Kreme's operations in south and west india from the Landmark Group. This is an important step in expanding its portfolio and strengthening its presence in india’s food service industry. With these moves, Curefoods is set for further growth and aims to become a top F&B operator in the country.
