Ather Energy Q1 Results: Posts Rs 645 Cr revenue in Q1 FY26, losses remain flat

Ather Energy’s expenses rose over 54% to ₹851 crore in Q1 FY26, up from ₹551 crore in the same quarter last year. Its EPS improved to -₹5 per share, compared to -₹7 per share a year ago.

ather energy reported a net loss of ₹178 crore in the April-June quarter of FY26, slightly less than the ₹183 crore loss in the same period last year.

However, its revenue from operations jumped by nearly 79% year-on-year, rising to ₹645 crore in Q1 FY26 from ₹360.5 crore in Q1 FY25.

Ather Energy’s expenses rose over 54% to ₹851 crore in Q1 FY26, up from ₹551 crore in the same quarter last year. Its EPS improved to -₹5 per share, compared to -₹7 per share a year ago.

The company sold 46,000 electric bikes during the quarter, nearly double (97% growth) from the same period last year. EBITDA margin also improved significantly, rising to 16% in Q1 FY26 from -33% in Q1 FY25.

"We have had a phenomenal start to this financial year, led by Rizta’s success and a strong expansion of our retail footprint. We were No.1 by market share in South India this quarter and are now scaling up quickly across Middle India, which has ramped up faster than expected. Over the next quarters, there will be a larger footprint expansion in the Northern markets. This quarter saw significant growth in our margins, demonstrating our strong focus on profitability. Even as we expand pan-India, our ASP has held steady, and our market share continues to grow," said Tarun Mehta, Executive Director and CEO at Ather Energy.

Ather Energy’s shares had a quiet stock market debut in May 2025, listing at ₹328—just 2% above the issue price. Since then, the stock has risen nearly 25%.

In contrast, rival ola Electric saw its revenue drop by nearly 50% in Q1 FY26, while its losses increased by 23% year-on-year.
