With the most recent round of funding, Snaptrude will be able to reach additional architecture companies in its endeavours to grow the company's engineering and manufacturing teams and its go-to-market approach.

“With over 20,000 users across the world, we’re making great strides to democratise good design and this new funding will support us in continuing to build the software and tools to continue to transform the AEC industry for the better,” Altaf Ganihar, founder and chief executive, Snaptrude said.

Launching with a web-based collaborative 3D design tool, the New York-based business, which has an office in Bengaluru, seeks to establish an advanced operating system for the concept construction process, as reported by ET.

The startup got a $6.6 million seed fundraising round from Foundamental VC and Accel just a year prior to receiving the Series A funding.
