The Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Freshworks, a SaaS company listed on Nasdaq, has resigned from his position after nearly five years in order to pursue a different professional opportunity.
According to the company's SEC filings, Ramamurthy will continue to work for the organization until October 1, 2024, in order to provide support to the newly appointed CEO, Dennis Woodside.
Ramamurthy was a senior vice president at Oracle Cloud, where he oversaw product development in systems management and security, and an operating partner at Trinity Ventures before joining Freshworks.
The company has also appointed Philippa Lawrence as its new Chief Accounting Officer, as indicated in an SEC filing from August 5th.

In addition, Pradeep Rathinam, who was the Chief Revenue Officer at Freshworks, resigned from the company in February. In 2020, Rathinam, who had previously founded AnsweriQ, an AI-driven customer service automation company, joined the company.
The revenue of Freshworks for the second quarter ending June 30, 2024, increased by 20% to $174.1 million, compared to $145 million in the same period the previous year.
