High-net-worth individuals (HNIs) such as Ashish Rameshchandra Kacholia and Artian Investments, a UK-based investment banking firm, invested equity finance of around Rs 225 crore (nearly $27 million) to the biopharmaceutical startup PlasmaGen Biosciences.

F-Prime Capital, an existing shareholder, and Eight Roads Ventures, an early backer, also took part in the fundraising.

The business from Bengaluru would utilise the money to accelerate the growth of its plasma goods. Additionally, it is anticipated that the corpus would be used to develop goods, finance working capital needs, and increase its global footprint.
