[Funding alert] PedalStart raises $300K in pre-seed round led by AngelBay, others

A $300,000 pre-seed round was raised by the Gurugram-based startup founders’ network platform PedalStart, which was also joined by Alok Bansal, co-founder of Policy Bazaar and Paisa Bazaar, and AngelBay. Participants in the round included Mayank Jain, Chief Product Officer and Head of Marketing at Snapdeal.

With these financing, PedalStart plans to onboard more than 3000 community founders and develop a core team and tech enabling simple movement and connecting founders with mentors, as per reported by YourStory.

“Being a startup founder, I can understand the problems an early-stage startup founder would face in his journey. At PedalStart, watching how they work to solve those problems and help the early-stage startup founders grow in the startup ecosystem, hit a nerve,” Alok Bansal said, in a media statement.
