Ambani and Adani Announce Rs 50,000 Cr Investment In Assam

At the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit in Guwahati, Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani announced a Rs 50,000 crore investment in Assam. 

Speaking at the event on Tuesday, Adani emphasized how such summits have gone beyond their initial goals and significantly contributed to India’s growth.

"In the past two decades, these investor summits have far exceeded their original ambitions. They have become catalysts for transformative change, attracting billions of dollars in investments and foundationally driving your vision of a Viksit Bharat," Adani said. 

"Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, every time I meet you, I leave inspired. I have known no recent first-time Chief Minister who has ignited such hope and then transformed that hope into action and remarkable progress," Adani said.

Mukesh Ambani also announced more than Rs 50,000 crore investment in Assam at the summit. 

Ambani announced that their investment in Assam will grow over four times to ₹50,000 crore in the coming years.
The company also plans to set up AI-ready centers in the state.

The Assam Advantage Summit brought leaders and businesses together to explore new opportunities. Ambani's announcement is expected to attract more interest in the state as a key investment hub.

A day earlier, Adani announced a Rs 2.1 trillion investment in Madhya Pradesh at the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal. This investment will create over 100,000 jobs and focus on projects like a smart city, an airport, and coal gasification. More investments in the state are being discussed.
