InsuranceDekho, the insurance arm of CarDekho, has raised Rs 300 crore or $36.5 million led by West Street Global (an investment arm of the Goldman Sachs group).
TVS Capital Fund, Investcorp Private Equity, Avataar Ventures, and Alstroemeria Investments participated in the funding round, as per reported by Inc42.
In addition, individual investors including Vineet Dhingra, N Lakshmi Narayan, and Sridham Putra were also part of the funding round.

InsuranceDekho was launched in 2019 by automobile aggregator CarDekho to make it easier for customers to compare and buy motor and health insurance. Under the leadership of Ankit Agarwal, the platform has expanded into other forms of insurance such as life, term, and retirement plans.
InsuranceDekho offers health, vehicle, life, pet, and travel insurance. The website claims it has made insurance claims of over INR 20 Lakh.
