Indigifts founder story was also very inspiring, Nitin Jain who was born with leadership qualities always believed in indigenous products and felt pride in the richness of Indian culture. Before starting indigits, he completed his Masters in Design from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and also took specialized entrepreneurship training from the University of Maryland, USA. He is one of the big supporters of Vocal For Local.
Indigifts – Business Idea
Indigifts story started due to Nitin’s love for the country and their creative mind. According to Nitin Jain, it is not just a gifting brand, it is a celebration of India’s rich culture and the skilled artisans who contribute to it. Indigifts is a Japur-based startup started in 2017 with the help of her co-founder and wife Diviya Jain, since its establishment indigifts has a collection of more than 5,000 indigenous products. They have completed more than 2 million orders since their establishment.
Indigifts – Shark Tank India Funding
Recently, the company was featured in Shark Tank India Season 3, where all the sharks loved their business idea and product. They also secured funding of 50 lakhs for 4% equity from two – sharks Ritesh Agarwal (OYO founder) and Vineeta Singh ( SUGAR Cosmetics founder). Ritesh loved how the fusion of comfort and cultural identity in the shape cushions, while Vineeta saw the potential in personalized gifting.
Indigifts secured funding from Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder & CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, and Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO of OYO Rooms.
