A 16-year-old Indian genius named Pranjali Awasthi has rocked the tech industry with her AI startup, Delv.AI. Awasthi disclosed while at a Miami Tech Week event that she founded her business in January 2022 and had been successful in securing funding totaling about Rs 3.7 crore.
A team of up to 10 employees is already listed on the Delv.AI LinkedIn profile. Awasthi identified her father as the main inspiration behind her entrepreneurial journey during the event, a report from Indiatoday.in stated.

Her engineer father’s support for computer science education in schools sparked Pranjali’s tech interest. She started coding at seven thanks to this encouragement, starting her remarkable journey.
After her family moved to Florida at 11, she could take computer science and competitive maths classes. Her 13-year-old internship at Florida International University research labs sparked her entrepreneurial business idea.
According to Awasthi, Delv.AI’s main objective is to help researchers quickly find specific data amidst the ever-growing online content. Deck and Village Global invested in Pranjali thanks in large part to the accelerator program.

The total funding raised by Delv.AI was $450,000 (roughly Rs 3.7 crore), and the company is currently valued at about $12 million.
While Pranjali’s Indian parents continue to value education, she has chosen to put off attending college for the time being in order to focus on her obligations and her passion for her growing business.
Pranjali plans to return to school in the future to pick up business skills that will help her on her entrepreneurship journey. Pranjali manages several facets of Delv.AI, from programming to operations and client service, while leading a small but effective team.
